We both have a deep love of espionage, movies, books, TV, and we’ve been friends for actually 31 years, and there’s always been talk between seasons or when we’re both free of like, ‘Let’s do a thing in Europe, would that be cool? A Hitchcock thing.'”

“The world of Tony and Ziva (and daughter Tali) promises to be an action-packed roller coaster fueled by love, danger, tears and laughter," they added. "We also want to acknowledge and thank the fans from around the world who supported the ‘TIVA’ movement for years. To this day, they say hello in grocery stores and on the street to tell us how much these characters mean to them and ask what Tony and Ziva are up to now. This is for you!”
“I’m incredibly grateful to CBS Studios and Paramount+ for the chance to plunge these two beloved characters into a dangerous, fun, romantic, exciting chase across Europe,” said executive producer & showrunner John McNamara. “I’m excited to tell a single, serialized story of intrigue and espionage over 10 episodes, getting the chance to delve more deeply into Tony and Ziva’s complex relationship, their on-again, off-again romance, and the way they manage to co-parent their daughter Tali, heightened by the sudden jeopardy they all find themselves in.
Tiva shippers: THIS IS NOT A DRILL. The first images and new information about the highly anticipated NCIS: Tony & Ziva spin-off have arrived. We're learning the series will be officially a part of the Fall 2025 premiere slate on Paramount+. The Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly spin-off will follow fan-favorites Ziva David and Anthony DiNozzo while they raise their daughter abroad. These new images show the pair sharing the screen together for the first time since 2013.
Weatherly promises “all the echoes" of the beloved "NCIS" couple known to fans as Tiva. But the new series will give viewers "a deeper groove on 'Tony & Ziva'… and locations you can’t get on a backlot."
“It was surprising how Cote and I just fell into this new place with our characters," Weatherly says. "Informed by the past, illuminated by the present and trying to see a future together ‒ these characters are on the adventure of a lifetime. Hopefully so is the viewer!"
As the series opens, Tony and Ziva have been raising their tweenage daughter Tali (played by The Outlaws’ Isla Gie), together, in Paris. But when Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, trying to figure out who is after them, so that they can finally have their unconventional “happily ever after.”
Filming on the 10 episodes began last summer — on location in Budapest, the Canary Islands, and Paris, France — and wrapped in late January.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly — NCIS vets and stars of the upcoming NCIS: Tony & Ziva spinoff — are launching a Spotify video podcast titled Off Duty: An NCIS Rewatch.
Video: Title for Tiva Spin-Off officially released! NCIS: Tony & Ziva
Michael Weatherly, Cote de Pablo, Brian Dietzen and Wilmer Valderrama will be in town for a behind the scenes event for NCIS, which is celebrating its 1000th episode.
As the Paramount+ series opens, Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter Tali, together, in Paris. But when Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, trying to figure out who is after them — and maybe even learn to trust each other again? — so that they can finally have their unconventional “happily ever after.”
Michael took to social media to share his excitement over the new project. "NCIS has a great world to explore… And I cannot wait to be working with so many amazing people on this project. We will make it the very best it can be!" he penned, prompting a fan to ask what he was most looking forward to.
Stapf said that Weatherly and de Pablo had been unable to leave their characters behind, and they'd been talking about a spinoff for years. They discussed the idea with John McNamara, who wrote the pilot episode and serves as the executive producer on the show. When they presented the idea to CBS, the network was excited to explore it. But all that started with the fans, as Stapf said below.
While not many details have been provided about Tony and Ziva’s new spinoff, the show is confirmed to be taking place in Europe as the couple raise their daughter, Tali. The conflict will revolve around Tony’s new security firm being attacked, something that prompts the story of the spinoff into motion. Unlike most series in the NCIS universe, this show will be focusing on returning characters instead of a new cast in a new location.
“The world of Tony and Ziva (and daughter Tali) promises to be an action-packed roller coaster fueled by love, danger, tears and laughter. We also want to acknowledge and thank the fans from around the world who supported the ‘TIVA’ movement for years. To this day, they say hello in grocery stores and on the street to tell us how much these characters mean to them and ask what Tony and Ziva are up to now. This is for you!”
Our Rebecca Whittaker updates us on what's to expect from the spin-off!
"As they crisscross the continent, they'll be racing against time to unravel the mystery behind the threat. Can they learn to trust each other once more, or will the danger tear them apart? One thing's for sure - this is the unconventional happily ever after we've all been waiting for."
“Tiva” is back. CBS Studios is expanding its ever growing NCIS franchise by bringing back two fan favorite characters from the mothership series, Tony DiNozzo, played by Michael Weatherly, and Ziva David, portrayed by Cote de Pablo, who will reunite on screen for the first time in 10 years. Paramount+ has given a 10-episode series order to the untitled spinoff headlined by Weatherly and de Pablo and written by John McNamara (Trumbo, The Magicians). All three executive produce.
The show will mark the sixth series in the "NCIS" universe; in addition to the original show, there are "NCIS" series set in Los Angeles, New Orleans, Hawai'i, and Sydney.
After more than 10 years, NCIS‘ #Tiva will rise once again. Paramount+ has ordered to series a new offshoot of the long-running and well-watched NCIS franchise, one that will reunite Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo on-screen for the first time since October 2013.
Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly are set to star in an untitled, Paris-set spinoff of the series, reprising their roles as, respectively, Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo. The series order comes on the heels of Weatherly returning to the flagship CBS series last week as NCIS paid tribute to the late David McCallum.
The duo will reprise their roles as Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo in a new Paramount+ series. Tiva is back! Paramount+ announced on Wednesday that a new NCIS spinoff is in the works, with Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly reprising their fan-favorite roles as Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo.
